"We couldn't have had a more positive experience hosting our wedding weekend welcome event at Gilman Brewing. Prior to the event, Micheal was both prompt and helpful in answering our questions, securing the space, and choosing the right drinks for our crowd. The Gilman team also prepared seamlessly with their recommended caterer, Dos Raicez, to ensure their food truck would be ready to serve delicious tacos to our guests! On the day of the event, Micheal and the Gilman team went above and beyond to help us set up the room with not only their furniture, heat lamps, votives, audio, etc. but also with items we brought (e.g., extra nonalcoholic drinks, decorations). The space looked great adorned with the string lights, and the audio system worked beautifully for music and wedding toasts, too! On the whole, we loved working with Gilman and would keep them top - of - mind for future events. We felt supported by the amazing team to host a wonderful evening with 100+ family and friends, and our guests enjoyed both the beers and the fun space."

"Gilman Brewing was the perfect venue for what we needed - the size, the setup, wifi and projection screen, the extra tables and chairs provided, etc. The rear bay door was perfect for the 8 - member band to unload and load with just enough adjacent parking s paces for their vehicles, not to mention the DJ, and food that was delivered. Guests had no problems ordering their beverages from the front bar and liked the choices of beer available. The foosball table was also a nice touch for the few kids and adults t hat wanted to play. There was plenty of room for dancing, room and tables out front for those that preferred to be outside, room in you r kitchen fridge for the full sheet birthday cake, just to name a few more perks that we liked about the venue. One of my worries, prior to that evening, was whether there was enough safe and adequate street parking. Happy to say that none of that was an issue. Our family and friends were very complimentary of the venue and you may receive a few inquiries from a few of them down the road, since I did have a lot of Berkeley friends present."
